Still BecomingEarly Access

Privacy Policy

Effective August 21, 2026

The short version

Still Becoming does not have accounts, does not sync anything to the cloud, and does not run analytics or advertising trackers. Everything you write is saved in your own browser on your own device, and no one — including Tiffany — can read it or recover it.

What is stored on your device

Your journal reflections, gratitude lists, prayers for others, Prayer & Reflection entries, saved devotionals and favorite prayers, check-ins, the display name you type, and your settings (text size, reminders, Quiet Evening) are stored in this browser's local storage on this device only.

They are never uploaded to a server, never attached to an account, and never shared with other users of the app.

What that means for you

  • Clearing your browser or app data, using private/incognito mode, uninstalling, or switching phones, browsers or computers may permanently remove your entries.
  • There is no backup, no export, and no restore. The app operator cannot access or recover anything stored on your device.
  • Anyone who can unlock this device and open this browser can read what you have written. There is no passcode lock inside the app.

What is loaded from the internet

The daily devotional content — the word, Scripture, meaning, guidance, step and prayer — is fetched from the app's content database. Full Scripture chapters you choose to open are fetched from a public Bible text service. Worship playlist buttons open Spotify, Apple Music or YouTube in a new tab, where their own privacy policies apply.

Nothing you write is included in any of those requests.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

Still Becoming does not set advertising or tracking cookies, does not use analytics tools, and does not sell or share data with advertisers. The only browser storage used is the technically necessary local storage described above, which keeps your own writing and preferences available to you.

Crisis resources

The crisis and care numbers listed in this app are provided for information only. Visiting or using them is not tracked, collected, logged or monitored by Still Becoming. If you are in danger, contact emergency services directly. See the Faith & Wellness Disclaimer for the full list.

Children

Still Becoming is written for adult women and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes to this policy

Future updates may add features such as accounts, cloud backup or paid subscriptions, which would change how data is handled. If that happens, this policy will be updated and the effective date above will change. Please check back after major updates.
